Pudhari is a popular Marathi daily published from Kolhapur. It is the fourth-largest Marathi newspaper daily.Its editor is Pratap Sinh Jadhav. Pudhari has different editions for major districts of Maharashtra namely Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Ahmadnagar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Belgaum & edition for Goa state.. Pudhari's fund collection for the Kargil War in 1999 was one of the largest by newspapers in India. It used the fund to build a hospital for Indian soldiers at Siachen in 2001.

Pudhari has launched the radio station "TOMATO FM" on the frequency 94.3 MHz.

Slowdown notwithstanding, Marathi daily Pudhari continues to expand its footprint across Maharashtra. The paper is launching its 11th edition, this time in Mumbai, on May 7. Mumbai launch will be followed by Aurangabad, Nasik and Nagpur shortly.

Pudhari was launched in 1937 and has been growing to the current combined total circulation of over 483,262 (ABC certified) copies of 10 different editions. The main edition from Kolhapur, along with editions from Sangli, Satara, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Belgaum, and Panaji, have been instrumental in making this newspaper a leader not only in Western and Southern Maharashtra, but in Northern Karnataka and Goa as well. The significant achievement of this media group, claimed Toshniwal, was that it had achieved the No. 1 position in terms of circulation in Nagar, Sangli, Satara, besides in Kolhapur
